Customer Support Specialist

As a Customer Support Specialist you will partner with our Operations Group to provide world-class logistics support acting as a focal point between USTC and our valued customer relationships. This role is a key liaison between business planning, our clients and all USTC departments.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Operations Supervisors to ensure exceptional customer relations delivery for over 120 locations nationwide.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying and satisfying the customer’s issues, determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the situation; expediting correction or adjustment to ensure resolution, and determining root cause.
  • Provide appropriate solutions, alternatives and follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate, detailed records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
  • Prepare project plans, data analysis and reports to capture customer feedback.
  • Oversee and respond to questions regarding product recalls.
  • Assist with placement and cancellation of orders or exchanges.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Leadership.

Requirements/Key Experiences

  • 2-3 years’ customer support experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated with ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as required
  • Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting professional behavior and integrity
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics and telecommunications operations

The Purchasing Analyst is an administrative point of contact responsible for organizing and communicating with various internal/external partners to ensure timely scheduling, preparation, tracking and delivery support for the Operations groups.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates inbound/outbound supply chain orders for compliance with USTC procedures, state, federal, and international regulations.
  • Develops positive cross-department relationships acting as a liaison with local and global employees, leaders, customers and vendors.
  • Accurately prepares data entry, reports, researches orders, analyzes data, printing and maintains timely computer system records.
  • Acts as office administrator, if needed, to prepare emails, respond to phone calls, order supplies and assist management team with other duties as assigned.

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for completing QC validation, line audits, and product sampling to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with our costumer, regulatory and industry standards. Functions as primary contact for QA operations team. Participates in development and implementation of quality projects and supports department initiatives.

Logistics Technician

The Logistics Technician will contribute to USTC’s success by supporting the operations in a wide variety of warehouse activities in one of the following functional group areas: receiving, shipping, distribution, inventory, production, maintenance and reporting. This position will work directly with the Supervisor, the Lead, and other team members to ensure productivity levels are on target. This role will also focus on achieving USTC’s Mission and Goals, and will support the implementation of company programs, procedures and practices to promote USTC key messages, acting in the best interest of the company at all times. Core Responsibilities:

  • Completes logistics processes, including physical tasks with respect to assigned area, e.g., receiving, shipping, warehousing and distribution – including, but not limited to the loading, unloading, cleaning, testing, storing and/or other processing of materials and consumer devices
  • Keeps safety and security top of mind; adheres to USTC policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety rules, regulations, and applicable laws
  • Where applicable, ensures that all work areas and related equipment and vehicles are utilized and maintained in a safe, clean and responsible manner

Requirements/Key Experiences:

  • Ability to regularly maneuver up to 60+ lbs with equipment., stand, bend, walk, lift and reach
  • Ability to use hand tools and operate all equipment in a safe, responsible manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of inventory control software programs (Oracle E-Business, Sage)
  • Forklift certification (must be obtained along with OSHA certification for equipment operation)
